We were thrilled to learn that Kintyre Gin came fourth in a survey by the Scottish Gin Society to discover their followers’ favourite Scottish gin. The survey was publicised on Facebook so it had a very wide audience and with over 100 gins on the market, to appear in the top ten is a fantastic achievement.
There were no surprises at all that Harris Gin is number one, taking 10% of the overall vote. We really enjoyed meeting their brand ambassador, Emma, at Gintyre two weeks ago and whilst they have created a phenomenally successful global brand, they are still very much a small batch producer and we can really relate to their community ethos.
Edinburgh Gin and Caroun are also big brands so we were very, very pleased to be fourth in this prestigious list. As a new company, small in size and production, we have had a fantastic first year so far and we really enjoy engaging with our customers, locally and further afield. Its always wonderful to hear about people enjoying and appreciating Kintyre Gin. Huge thanks to all who voted for us!
