We’ve had some busy days here at Beinn An Tuirc. Last Wednesday our bottles arrived. Thursday and Friday we started bottling the gin. Saturday, after a last minute decision, we took some bottles from batch “Barelegs” out to the seafood Festival in Tarbert. After the great reception on Saturday, Sunday was the day of rest. Monday came back around again, and it was time to start boxing bottles and t-shirts for delivery to our crowdfunders. Tuesday, and a trip to the post office was in order as the first of our babies left home. *phew*…*pause for breath* So, we’ve barely had any time to sit back and let it sink in really. *lets it sink in* WE’VE MADE GIN! IT’S IN BOTTLES! KINTYRE GIN IS WELL AND TRULY HERE!
It’s been quite the journey to get here but as it’s gone on the business has grown and so has the Beinn An Tuirc team. We’ve not been without our setbacks and there have been plenty of lessons learnt along the way. We’re not sure if that’s the hardest part done…. but we do hope it is at least for now. Because now that we’ve got gin in stock it’s time to start selling it. We’ll be commencing sales on our online shop at 12 noon Monday the 10th of July and after this our gin will gradually be making it’s way in to bars, restaurants, hotels, and shops. We’re really happy with all the positive feedback we’ve received so far from family, friends, locals, and from further afield. As we are a small batch distillery we are still some way from being all across the country or even beyond that, but now that this stage has begun we can’t wait for you to start enjoying our gin.
