In the quieter months it’s lovely to have organised gatherings at the distillery cafe and in the gin school and there have been plenty this year already.
We hosted a hen party in February – the wedding was taking place the next at Wesport Beach – very brave! We have also done some celebration gin schools – Paul and Jancie were celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary with a stay in our lovely bothies and Paul booked gin school as a surprise. Last week we welcomed more bothy guests who decided gin school was the perfect activity to mark Derek’s 60th birthday! A lovely bunch of folk. Everyone made really delicious blends.
It was lovely to meet some of our German stockists who were over sampling Campbeltown whisky and took the opportunity to visit us at Beinn an Tuirc. The Whisky Plaza bar in Hamburg is high on our bucket list to visit!
Next week we’re rolling out the red carpet for ten enthusiastic Swedes who are coming to gin school. Never a dull moment!
