We are up for SIX Scottish Gin Awards this year and couldn’t be more chuffed! The categories we’re nominated in are:
- Best Marketing Campaign
- Excellence in Branding
- Innovation of the Year
- Scottish Gin Event of the Year – Gintyre (in collaboration with Explore Campbeltown and the South Kintyre Development Trust)
- Cask Gin of the Year – Kintyre Oak Aged Gin
- London Dry Gin of the Year – Kintyre Botanical Gin
We were delighted to win Best Newcomer at last year’s Scottish Gin Awards but as we are about to mark the end of our second year in production we are no longer the new kids on block. The Scottish gin market is busy and it’s becoming increasingly difficult for smaller brands to stand out. We believe we have what it takes though and, regardless of awards, are determined to keep developing Beinn an Tuirc Distillers whilsts sticking to our sustainable principles and producing high quality, hand crafted gin, here in Kintyre.
The final takes place in Glasgow in October and will no doubt be a brilliant night. Niall and Kenny thoroughly enjoyed it last year* and we’ll hopefully take the whole team up this year.
