Scunnered
ADJECTIVE dialect, mainly Scottishannoyed, discontented, or bored
We were in unanimous agreement as to our latest batch name. We’ve reach S again in the alphabet so threw it open to our Facebook followers who didn’t disappoint. There were several suggestions of ‘Scunnered’ which just seemed to be a perfect fit, considering the current lockdown situation we are all in a the moment. “Annoyed, discontented or bored” is what most of us are feeling at any given moment just now, as we enter another week of restrictions. Congratulations to Val McAulay who was one of 4 people who suggested it. We picked her name from a boar hat! She looked the opposite of scunnered when her bottle arrived.
The team is bearing up well in these strange times. Due to some big orders and an export, we able to unfurlough Gareth so we could distill again. Emma is more or less based at home attempting to school the kids (don’t even ask…) and keeping the social media going whilst Boss Hogg and Su have been sending out all the online orders. Don’t forget we have a free postage code when you buy online – TASTEOFKINTYRE – keep them busy! Crumble is also working from home but enjoys her daily visits to the distillery to be thoroughly spoiled.
Here are our best scunnered faces!
Batch scunnered is available to buy online now while stocks last. Don’t miss out or you’ll be scunnered!
